Again, this infection can also be caused by the common mouth infections. These infections are in most cases caused certain fungi and virus like herpes or even thrush. Once they infect your mouth, they may lead to swelling around your teeth, which if not treated in time may cause serious health complications. The only way to eliminate this disorder is to first treat the underlying mouth infection.

Once you have noticed these infections, dentists recommend that you consult the experts before they infect themselves in the entire mouth. Among the common remedies for this disorder is the use of a solution of olive oil and clove oil. This mix is believed to have an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects and properties. Therefore, the solution is recommended for treating this disorder.

Applying a solution of lemon to the infected area is another therapy that is recommended for treating these swellings. Since fresh lemon is believed to contain minerals such as potassium, Calcium, and small amounts of pectin, individuals are advised to apply a concentrated amount of this solution on the swollen part.

Another form of remedy t these swelling is use of salt water. Infected person is supposed to rinse his or her mouth several times in a day. In fact, this is one of the most effective and widely used remedy. It use dates back to olden days and it has still in use to date. Solution of water and salt is believed it be a disinfectant and it assists in getting rid of microbes in mouth, which causes these inflammations.

Again, although it is not widely used, Aloe Vera is can also be used to cure these swellings. It contain a wide range of medicinal properties and the reason as to why treating the disease is that is has both antifungal and antioxidants, which help to heal the disorder.
